I have two R760 APs powered by Trendnet 10G PoE++ injectors, which provide the correct amount of power. The access points start at room temperature but gradually heat up and then reboot after about 40–60 minutes of uptime, even with minimal to no network activity. Something is clearly wrong with the devices, and I’m assuming it may be a firmware issue. I’m currently running 118.2.0.0.875, which I was only able to upgrade to using the CLI. After the first reboot, the device continues rebooting every 10–15 minutes. This may be some sort of thermal protection behavior, but I’m not sure. These APs are not being used for WAN—only for a private network to access audio-visual devices. No other users are on the network besides me.I am using these as standalone devices. One is set to xxx.xx.x.250 and the other to xxx.xx.x.251. They work properly with except of the reboot cycling. Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi Team,I would like to understand the recommended or standard RF configuration for a Ruckus wireless deployment. My setup:- AP Model: R650 (Unleashed / Dedicated Master)- Environment: (Indoor hall / office / outdoor – specify yours)- Area Size: (e.g., 3000 x 6000 ft)- Client Density: (approx number of users, e.g., 5000 mixed devices)- Use Case: (general internet / high-density event / VoIP / CCTV etc.)Current concerns:- (Example: interference, low throughput, roaming issues, channel overlap)Questions:1. What is the recommended channel width for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz in high-density environments?2. Should I use Auto channel or manual channel planning?3. Recommended Tx power settings (Auto vs fixed)?4. Best practices for enabling/disabling features like:- Band Steering- Airtime Fairness- Background Scanning5. Any recommended RF profiles for high-density deployments?I would appreciate any best practices or real-world configurations. Thanks in advance.

We are migrating from VMware to Hyper-V and I need to move our vSZ-E VM. I found this article:https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000014314I understand that migrating the VM with Veeam or similar migration tools is not supported. I need to start with a new Hyper-V appliance. My question is if it is supported to take a cluster config backup from the VMware appliance and restore it to the Hyper-V VM. The article above seems ambiguous to me about this. I found the follow post about a similar migration, but there wasn't any update on it about the success of this operation.https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/SmartZone-and-Virtual-SmartZone/Smartzone-Migration-from-Hyper-V-to-VMware/m-p/69749If anyone has experience with such a hypervisor migration, it would be most helpful.

Hello,I am trying to set up MAC address authentication for a particular SSID on our virtual smartzone. I've set up a Proxy (SZ Authenticator) directing to one of my NPS servers on our domain, and configured the NPS policies to allow those in a particular AD group. I have imported the list of approved MAC addresses into our AD as user accounts, and these are a member of an allow group, which is referenced in NPS. I've even configured a NAS identifier in NPS, and on the WLAN config, but it doesn't seem to be working. I've searched various sites online, even tried AI tools, which don't seem to work. Is anyone able to give some advice on how I can configure this please?
