Esports participation in the British Esports Student Champs is now also recognised as a ‘Skill’ as part of the Esports: Duke of Edinburgh Award. The organisation collaborates with educational institutions to integrate esports into the curriculum, offering pioneering qualifications such as the Pearson National BTECs Level 2 and Level 3 in esports and Pearson Higher Nationals Level 4 and 5. College of Esports, British Esports’ exclusive university partner, provides Level 6 qualifications in esports. Esports education fosters leadership skills, teamwork, and critical thinking—preparing students for the evolving digital landscape while promoting a passion for learning.

British Esports and the Leadership Skills Foundation have also joined forces to craft a suite of Esports Leadership qualifications geared toward cultivating leadership abilities among young individuals in primary and secondary education. The National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland serves as The Hub, featuring The Arena, The Place, and Gaming Houses. RUCKUS Networks is set to install its cutting-edge connectivity technology at British Esports’ prestigious National Esports Performance Campus. This campus, known for its excellence in both esports and education, serves as a multi-site complex and the headquarters of the national federation.
